I have a Bass-Baritone voice that can be used in Operas or musicals (and has on many occasions - I've sung the lead in Sweeney Todd, Fagin in Oliver, Osmin in Mozart's Abuction from the Seraglio and Boatswain in HMS Pinafore with the Little Orchestra Society at NYC's Avery Fisher Hall to name a few. I can strum a few chords on the Guitar (and can't a monkey play the autoharp? - if so - I'm at least comparable.)
Gary was trained first at SUNY Fredonia and then in NYC as an opera singer before going through the Yale School of Music Master's of Music Degree program with an emphasis on Opera Performance. He then taught voice for several years at Wesleyan University and Trinity College, both in central Connecticut.
Training included pedagogy, vocal production, stage movement and acting and dance.
